Nextcloud can't see database, unlike all guides

I am trying to install nextcloud on our truenas installation and i'm following all the steps i find in all the GUI guides. I get this installation output after the title "installation installed successfully":

I do the following afterwards: stop jail, set up mounting points, restart jail, then click "manage" in plugins. It just sends me to a page where i can make a new account and create a database

Truenas core version: TrueNAS-12.0-U3.1
Nextcloud version: 21.0.1


Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind doing it manually but i don't know any of the steps. i'm familiar with linux, but i'm not sure how much that transfers to FBSD

I've seen a lot of reports of problems with the plugin. Use my script instead:

Try following this guide worked for me after having same issues (Delete your nextcloud install first)
