Is the system possibly swapping to the disks because of the low memory? swapinfo and vmstat 2 would tell that.

No swapping. So possibly one of the disks is causing the system to wait until timeout ...

No swapping. So possibly one of the disks is causing the system to wait until timeout ...

I've got another two drives that I have done a "Secure erase" on in an effort to map out bad sectors (Have no idea if a secure erase helps with that), should I replace ada0 and ada3 and see if that helps?

Well you have these errors on ada0, ada2 and ada3 at least, that's 3 of your 4 drives. Probably you just repurposed hardware way beyond its planned lifetime?

:) Possibly but they're actually archive disks that are elderly but haven't had a hard life.

Should I replace the two disks and have another go?

Or will the resilver fail too...?

If there is no data on that pool yet, better do a burn-in test of all the disks first.

There is data on there. It's backed up but I'd rather not have to transfer it all again as it took forever.

Will a resilver fail in my current state?
