Hi everyone, I'm so excited with my first TrueNAS build:
  • ASUS Prime B660M-A WIFI D4
  • Intel Core i5-12400
  • 32 GB (Non-ECC)
  • 4 TB Seagate IronWolf Pro in Raid Z (true-pool) and 256 GB WDC NVMe (boot-pool)
  • Onboard SATA Controller
  • Intel® Gigabit Ethernet Connection I219-V
However, I see some services failed to start during the boot process. Should I worry about them?

Here's a better picture. I'm wondering if anyone else has the same issue.

Should I worry about them?

nope.

not a great choice for mobo but at least it's an intel NIC.
Raid Z (true-pool)
there is no "RAID Z". it must be raidz1,2,3.
you don't say how many disks. hopefully you havent put raidz1 with 4TB disks.

I have 4x4TB Seagate Ironwolf Pro disks in raid Z1. Is there any issue with this configuration? I've seen many builds with 4x4TB in RAID5 (or Z1)

raidz1 with disks over 2TB is highly discouraged without at least a backup. RAID5 and raidz have zero redundancy while rebuilding. if anything goes wrong while re-silvering your drives, the pool can be lost, and re-silvering puts a significant amount of usage on the disks while rebuilding, meaning increased chances of another drive also being lost before the re-silver can complete.
drives greater than 2TB start to take a really long time to resilver, exacerbating the risk.
