So I went to boot my server after it being off for a few days and for some bizzare reason a kernal panic appears during the boot. Nothing has changed in the few days it was off, no power surges I am aware of either.

Hardware checking steps I have taken:
  1. Reseat boot drive
  2. Reseat disk cables
  3. Reseat RAM
  4. I am currently running a memtest over night
I figured it was some corruption of the OS so I went about a fresh install to the latest release TrueNAS SCALE 23.10.0 and just reupload my config, when I try to import the pool same issue. The pool shows in both the GUI and CLI and the disks are online:

Code:
admin@truenas[~]$ sudo zpool import
[sudo] password for admin:
   pool: blacklibrary
     id: 2911581505691799441
  state: ONLINE
status: The pool was last accessed by another system.
action: The pool can be imported using its name or numeric identifier and
        the '-f' flag.

Does anyone have any ideas? All data is fully backedup and safe, so I could just wipe the pools and start again as it's a very simple setup basic file server. But I worry now there is something more to this that will causes issues again.

Hardware:
  • AS Rock H270M-ITX/ac
  • Intel Core i5 6500
  • Kingson KHZ2133C14D4/8G (x2)
  • 970 EVO 250GB M.2 (Boot)
  • IronWolf Pro 8TB (RaidZ2)
I know having better hardware and ECC ram would be advisable but this is what I have to work with until I can build a more suitable machine.
