Hello Everyone,

So far I really like the TrueNAS Server software. It is really nice I am able to create the pools and shared storage I want. However, I decided to try the Virtualization side of things, I was able to get a Windwos Server 2012,2016,2019 working but I was wanting to put in a Windwos 10 Pro VM to use in case of work or other Winblows type things. I am getting a very weird result when I start up the Win10 Pro VM it goes to a prompt I type exit it takes me to the bios, I then choose the CD/DVD Rom to boot from and it goes back to the prompt. Any ideas? Yes it is a legal version of Win10 Pro, I also downloaded an eval version from Microsoft and got the same result. Not sure where to go from here.

Thanks in Advance,
Michael

pretty sure you have no valid boot disk. that is the UEFI equivalent of "please insert a boot device".
is this, ahem, "legal" win10 pro disk actually bootable? you can download the disk directly from microsoft, and it will make a CD or ISO for you, which will be bootable.
