Network question two interfaces one only for IPMI?

Hi,
my board has a onboard card which I use for IPMI. Now I've added an Intel i350-T4 to use link aggregation. I understood that these two interfaces cannot be in the same subnet but I also do not need an additional subnet at home.
How can I now maybe deactivate the onboard card inside truenas that it is only used for the IPMI stuff and all network transfer for TrueNas is then using the i350? What is your recommendation for that?

Thanks and Kind Regards
Marco

Configure your add on card in FreeNAS, remove the IP address from the onboard one. It's as simple as that. The IPMI is a completely independent processor and operating system and will continue to run on the onboard device. It will even work if both are in the same subnet because it's a separate "computer".
