Network Bridge Setup for Virtual Machines

Hi all,

Can anyone assist me to get a bridge setup for virtual machines in SCALE?

I have done what I think makes sense but I can't get it working.

I have a dedicated physical interface (ens19) for virtual machines. I have created a bridge (br1) and added ens19 as a member. Then I have assigned the bridge as the NIC to the VM. I have tried using both VirtIO and Intel type NICS. The virtual machine is set with a static address but I cannot ping or communicate with anything.

I'd suggest listing out all the IP addresses and settings... that would avoid any IP networking issues going undiscovered.
