Need help with error 13 unretryable error.

So one day i restarted my server. Must've been something to do with a ram swap. Then one day i boot the system up and nothing in the web panel or nothing. So i plug a vga into the server and. Error 13 enretryable error write protected. I Understand i have to get a new drive after reading about it but i would like to reformat the old drive, How do i go about it? In windows it just doesn't let me format it. I've tried some stuff but then bricked my pc (bluescreen after opening anything). Any help? (not about my pc but about the server, fixed my pc.) But i just need to get my server back online. Thanks.
