Multichannel is disabled by default. We don't use the aio max threads parameter for our default shares (use FreeBSD kernel AIO instead), but keep pthreadpool setting for consistency with older versions for shares using smbd's pthread-based AIO.

As u mentioned somewhere else, u try to be conservative enabling new features on Truenas which I respect, does this also implicate nfs4.2 and lz4 instead of zstd for pools ?

Additionally I am and or the community as well is pretty interested if u could share reasons/experiences not to use some of these settings/features with Truenas yet ?

Why not ;-) ?
What is the use-case and how are trying to support it?
TrueNAS SCALE is the scale-out version...
TrueNAS CORE/Enterprise 13.0 is targeted at scale-up use-cases
