Moving Jails to new SSD

Hi,

I'd like to move the jails that I currently have over to a new SSD, when I get it in. If I were to do an rsync to a folder on my second ZFS from the one that I would like to copy, delete the first ZFS, add the drive and give it the same volume name as the old ZFS, and then rsync back to the new drive would this do the trick?

Sounds like it should, but I haven't tried it (surely someone else will chime in and confirm). ZFS replication would probably work better, though.

I would do ZFS replication over rsync....

so, with ZFS replication, after the replication I would just delete the source and rename the destination to the name of the source and reboot and that should keep my jails intact and functional?
