Mount Error Issues

I received a Mount error code 6 while booting into FreeNAS. I understand I need to replace my USB key. However, I forgot to save my config. My questions are
a) Is there a way to retrieve it
b) If I can not retrieve the config, what will be missing from not uploading the config and will I be able to access my data from my drives?

Install the same version of the OS to another stick, then go into the location specified in the "Save Config" section of http://doc.freenas.org/11/system.html#general. This assumes that the system was up when the automatic copy occurs.

If you can't get the config, you will lose all of the configuration settings you changed on the system and will have to recreate them.
