Good day!
I'm really new to all of this and I build a NAS from my old computer, but due to a severe thunderstorm, the motherboard died. I have to go and buy a new one but I'm not sure what's the safest/best way to go about transferring my drives with the data intact to the new platform. Thanks!

Of note: If you didn't take a config backup, your old config is in /var/db/system/config-xxxx/some-sub-folder. You can grab it from there and re-import after reinstall on new hardware, IF you even need to reinstall. You might be able to just boot from your previous boot media, if that survived the thunderstorm.

I really didn't expect it to be that straightforward, thank you!

Thanks, the state of my drive is my biggest concern and I don't really have a way of checking at the moment,
