migrated pool to new server, smb mapped but access denied

Imported mirrored drives(probably the wrong terms now), created user/groups/share according to circulated video, from win7 I can map the share after entering credentials but I get access denied when I trying to open/browse the folder. Is that because the pool/drives still have the old permissions since this was an older imported pool and new config, should I set the pool permissions to apply recursively? If you need anymore info or screenshots let me know.

Were you able to resolve this? If not, which version of FreeNAS? What are the current permissons on the share?
