Matchname failed

Hi All.

I am new to this. I am running a homeserver 2011 and I am thinking about replacing it with FreeNas. (After all, it is nearing it's "End of Life").

Every time I do work on one of my computers, the FreeNas screen shows a message like this:

I have looked everywhere, but I have been unable to find this mentioned anywhere. (No doubt that it is there, but I haven't found it).
I get this message when using any of my computers. Only the IP changes.

At the moment I am only playing to see whether I shall change. If I can get it working ok. If I can I will have to go and get another MB, as the current MB do not support ECC Ram.

Have you tried to access the GUI through http://192.168.2.12 on another machine?

You don't have dns on your network. Either setup dns, ignore the messages or turn off hostname lookup in the cifs settings. This is just a info message and not really a problem.
