Hey guys,
Long story short I am deploying ceph on Ubuntu under FreeNAS bhyve.
For my storage nodes, I would like to directly pass a disk through to one of the Ubuntu guests.
I know I could create a new zpool for each disk and then create a new zvol for each pool and then present the zvol to the guest, but I'd much rather directly pass though bhyve to the guest.
It seems the GUI and the CLI for bhyve aren't synced/related.
Thoughts?
EDIT:
I created 3 new zpools each with one 8TB drive in it. However, when I go to the VMs and try to map a disk - it only lets me select a zvol from the zpool where the OS is installed. Bummer!
Ideas?
