Hello ,

I considering building storage based on supermicro chassis , using LSI 9300-8i with ST6000NM0004
Is there any reservation regarding combining those two or one of them?
Other question i need to use at total 12 drives is good idea using 2 x LSI 9300-8i?
Thanks

AFAIK the 9300 is only lightly tested, so you're kind of a "beta tester" with that hardware.

If you want to be sure you are using a rock solid setup, go with an M1015.

There is one person having issues with a Seagate that is very bizaare. No understanding of what is wrong, but he's kind of in a tight spot because SMART says the disk is fine, but it clearly isn't.
