Lost NIC after reboot from GUI

Ok not sure if this belongs here or in networking..... But I did a powerdown from the WebGUI so I could move my box to a different local now I cant access from my network and when I try to reboot it says "em0...link down" and it shows 0.0.0.0 for my IP. So I did a factory reset and now my card only connects at 100 instead of 1000...in running 8.0.2. What can I do or try to reset my NIC ?

Pareema 4GB (2 x 2GB)
Intel EXPI9301CTBLK NIC
4 - WD20EARS 2TB HDD
picoPSU-150-XT PowerSupply
1 - Noctua NF-R8-1800 {lvl 1 manual speed control in BIOS}

Just said F!!K it and did a fresh install ...everything working.
