Hi,
Updated both my main Truenas Core server and my replication server over the Christmas break and everything looks to have gone well.
Had a user notify me this morning that a folder is missing on the shared drive (which it has gone, as well as a few others)
All other folders on the share are available, just the few that start from T-Z in this particular folder.
The data is still on the drive in the correct place, but it is not available (loading an existing file from it says permission error)
I can browse it fine through the Truenas cli, but just not on windows or linux.
The permission on the folders look correct when using ls -la on the cli.
Is this a case of recreating the share again? I'm hesitant to do that as an initial thing as we have a lot of servers accessing the files from other parts of that share which will error out if it disappears.
Any way to manually force the permissions on that folder to update/reset without the whole share going offline?
Cheers.
