Hi All,
I'm attempting to locate the source of a power spike early every morning. The spike occurs from 3:30am to about 5:30am, two hours sustained at 2.8kW. Given the size and regularity, I'm suspecting it's my FreeNAS server [ten disks in total]. Ideally I want to move this power usage to during the day when my solar panels can support the usage, assuming whatever it is is legitimate.
I've attempted tweaking my SMART settings to ensure these occur during the day [11am]. The adjustment did shift the power usage back [used to start around 2:30am], however, my SMART settings are not daily.
I'd like to go through the event logs to see if there is anything recorded in them as to what is occurring around this time. Would appreciate some advice on where these are saved.
Thanks in advance
