Live Updates Are Not Supported by This System (Truenas 12.0 RC1)

I have installed truenas 12.0 RC1 and truecommand but getting some errors as below. Please assist how to troubleshoot.

Hey @tomkhoo ! Looks like you're running an old version of TrueCommand. Are you able to update to 1.3.x? I'm confident that would resolve your issue.

Hi Aervin,

I have upgrade the TrueCommand few times but after rebooted it still appear the same version. For the first time I did the upgrade, it do download some packages from online then applied. After done, reboot still the same version. I try to upgrade another time and still remained same version.

Hi Aervin,

The version is stable nightly 1.1

Gotcha @tomkhoo ! After version 1.1 we moved TC from a FreeBSD appliance to a Docker container. The latest version is 1.3.2. VM images are still available if you don't want to use Docker directly. Since you only have one system registered in TC, I'd recommend a fresh 1.3.2 deployment (simplest method). Let me know if you have any issues.

Hi Aervin,

I have tried to download ver 1.3.2 vm images from IXSystem Portal, but it is just vmdk disk not an ISO file. I tried to mount it, power up and can't change the network setting due to the config file is read only.
