Hello,

I saw that in the jail template I can select Linux template and one of the following architecture : x86 or amd64. I tried to use pre-built Linux Jail provided at the following url : http://download.freenas.org/jails/9.2/x64/
When I try to ping google, I have the following message : Cannot open netlink socket: Address family not supported by protocol.

This issue appears when I debootstrap my own Debian 9 jail.

After searching in the documentation or in the bug website : https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/3518

Is Linux jail still supported in FreeNAS 11 ?

Thanks.

Linux jails were deprecated when FreeNAS 9.3 was released because they were limited to 32-bit and didn't support all kernel functions. Suggest you use the VM functionality now available in FreeNAS 11.
