Hey just updated to the most recent 9.10 and am at the moment in the process of copying about 7TB of data from this ZFS pool so I can rebuild it. Currently its setup as follows:

RAM: 64GB
zPool: 5x4TB + 5x2TB (both raidz2) w/cache drive of 128GB SSD

I noticed this morning on my ARC size graph, L2ARC is currently at 1.3TB in size o_O - is there a CLI command I can run to validate this?

I'm fairly certain this was recently fixed. You're sure you're on 9.10.2-U4?

Why do you have an L2ARC? You have more than enough RAM not to need one.

Yea my version is

FreeNAS-9.10.2-U4 (27ae72978)

As for the L2ARC I had the spare SSD and threw it in as a cache last week as a test. Likely will remove it once I rebuild the pool (I want to have 6x4TB raidz2), majority of this storage is for plex media.

The L2ARC 'accounting' bug is still around as of version 9.10.2-U4, but is supposed to have been fixed in 11RC. My main system (running 9.10.2-U4) is equipped with a 240GB L2ARC SSD, but the system reports ~925GB of L2ARC:
