jails not updating in FreeNAS-9.10

I am having a problem with my current jails no longer being able to update I did a pkg upgrade. I can create new jails and they work fine but the old ones with the plugins are also malfunctioning. See the below:

Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue...
pkg: http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/freebsd:10:x86:64/latest/meta.txz: No address record
repository FreeBSD has no meta file, using default settings
pkg: http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/freebsd:10:x86:64/latest/packagesite.txz: No address record
Unable to update repository FreeBSD

Can you ping a website (eg google.com) from within the jail? That message looks like you have no DNS from the jail.

Not having name resolution would do it. If you're using DHCP in the jails, add 8.8.8.8 as Nameserver 1 in Network -> Global Configuration. Otherwise, and an entry for 8.8.8.8 in /etc/resolv.conf inside the jail.
