Just completed a clean install of 9.1.1-Release and everything works for the most part. One major issue I'm having is after installing the MiniDLNA Plugin and setting it up and ensuring it runs, is when I reboot the machine the dlna_1 jail share is not mounted automatically. I can go in and click the Mount check box and click "OK" again, the share mounts and all works until I reboot again then it fails to mount yet again.

Am I missing something?

Hmm I had an issue when I installed MiniDLNA.. Had to clean all my jail folders.. Then I can't remember if I uploaded the .pbi manually or re-downloaded using the jails/plugin tab .. I think I re-downloaded and it setup clean and was enabled after reboot.. I wanted clean setups anyways..

Make sure you don't have spaces in the jail paths etc.. I had a few issues on 9.1 rc/release with getting the storage links setup properly..

Yea, it was a completely clean install and the plugin was via the GUI. I was tempted to go through and manually install the PBI but I tossed in the towel and shut the system down and put in my old 8.3.1 USB stick and booted my old system. I hate playing around with my real NAS because if it shits the bed, recovery just takes too long to refill the drives. I'll mess around in the VM later today or tomorrow. I just returned from a long vacation and just expected the 9.1.1 to be fully working. Maybe I will wait until 9.1.2 unless I find out the problem is on my end of course.

I still want to build a properly working MiniDLNA plugin that uses kqueue to monitor for data changes and then kicks off a rescan without restarting the MiniDLNA service so I will be working the VM anyway.

The problem is new and due to a space in the path name. I changed the space to an underscore and that got past the flaw.

Yea I posted about this awhile back.. It's finicky with spaces.. Not sure if this is a minidlna thing or symbolic link? issue with storage..

Unfortunately my VM testing platform doesn't use spaces but in the future I will make use of them to ensure I test that part out. I found some other issues within the dlna_1 jail but I know I induced them but I shouldn't have been able to. I'm going to start working on that MiniDLNA plugin with Kqueue to recognize the changes to the files. Not sure how long it will take me but first I need to create a working plugin and then start editing the MiniDLNA code to include Kqueue. I hope someone beats me to a finished product.

If possible can you upgrade MiniDLNA to a more "current" version?.. When I donwloaded from the repository (plugin page) I believe I had issues.. Not 100% though can't remember.. I believe we should all be on ReadyMedia.. Maybe not compatible though etc..
