FreeNas 9.1.1
Hello. After reading through some other forums... It looks like even with LUC, I'll have to restart the iscsi services when creating\editing Targets\Initiators and LUNs. Is that correct?
I would like to use FreeNas for a lab environment where I can add Luns and present them on the fly to esxi hosts in a way that won't disrupt the other systems using the already existing iscsi storage that is presented.
Is this possible?
I've noticed that I have to restart the iscsi service before the changes I make take hold. Like when I add or remove initiators from an initiator group for example.
Will someone please explain what the following fields are for? Controller IP: this is the ip of the FreeNas right?, Controller TCP Port: what should this be?, Controller Authorized Network: ?, Controller Auth Method: ?, Controller Auth Group ?.
Thanks in advance!
