Only if you feel like paying obscene amounts of cash for limited compute capability and no expansion potential. Xeon-D would be a cheaper and more versatile choice.

I don't think something like this:

but expanded a little bit to include some hot-swap drive bays and an additional power supply is too out-of-order.

There's currently a pretty large jump in price to get to the 6-drive RAIDZ2 sweet spot.
