Is it possible to turn my raid card off in the bios of the HP DL380P Gen8 server?

I want to move from a raid card to a hba. But I want to know before I buy a hba and sas cables is there already a way to do it. My sas cables plug into the motherboard which seems to go to my raid card and then to truenas. The servers ROM is "P70 05/24/2019". Is there a way to make it work?
