How would I keep my drive settings when switching from a raid card to a hba?

The Server I have is a DL380p Gen8 Server. It has 10 1TB SSDs and a raid card. The raid card is setup so each drive is in its own raid 0 which passes through to truenas. I want to switch to a hba card but I don't know if changing from raid card to hba would make it so it doesn't detect the pool anymore. Is there any harm in doing this and if so how could I do it safely?

Thanks

It depends on what the RAID card has "done" to the disks. You should have a fresh and tested (i.e. restore) backup and then can simply swap the cards. Either it works or not.

It would not hurt to know your pool configuration.

Alternatively someone with experience with that (unknown) RAID adapter can tell.

The RAID card is the HP 4K1285
