I would like to try doker within a jail, but it seems to need FreeBSD 10 or 11.

In fact I want to try what is described in the whats-new blog of 2015/07/docker-done-right.html

Is it possible to create a more updated jail than the host ?

Thanks.

Nope. You can install jail versions older than the host, but not newer.

I could, but this will not the most efficient way to acheive what I want.

I wanted to try FreeBSD 10 /11 for the new Docker stuff, that would permit me to deploy a small linux for providing xmpp gateway via spectrum2 that can't be build on freebsd.

I am hopping that Docker on FreeBSD is less resource intensive that virtualbox.

Thanks for the reply.
