IPMI Serial Port Access via ssh on FreeNAS Mini - idiot's guide?

After reading this thread, I too was finally able to access my FreeNAS mini's BMC in OSX terminal console. Not sure if it was required, but I updated the mini's bios to C275D4I2.80 and the BMC's firmware to C2550D4I_V_00_23_00.ima. I also had to change the terminal type to VT-100. Along with the bios changes mentioned above, I now have "Terminal" access to BIOS (by pressing F2 repeatedly after the ipmitool command), grub's menu and the kernel messages. I can't see the POST messages, though, but its good enough for me for now. This is on FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201509160044.
