The Intel res2sv240 SAS expander (one of the best) is currently super cheap on ebay.
While normally around 150-200 dollars, they are currently below 100, possibly due to some people flooding the market.
Also some vendors in europe for the same prices.
I was holding off on buying one for ages now, but with these prices they are well worth it.
A good LSI card + res2sv240 can be had for 150 dollars with these prices, which is an insanely good deal!
