What happens if I install jails on eSATA, and then the eSATA is disconnected? (see picture)
I intend to add a 6th drive to my HP Proliant Microserver via eSATA. I am worried what may happen if it somehow becomes disconnected while FreeNAS is running. I noticed if I install any official plugins then those require ZFS, is that the ideal place for jails too?
Honestly I've a couple strange issues with jails:
1. had to uncheck vague "vanilla" option, then reboot freenas, in order to use pkg in a jail
2. after creating multiple jails suddenly cannot edit or delete certain ones, get webui errors
I would prefer not to have to use them but I suppose they are mandatory for 3rd party software.
