Impossible to reutilize disk

Hello.

I'm trying to create a new strip pool using an old disk, but.. it's completely impossible. The disk never ever appears as disponible in the create pool section.

Searching google and forum, I have tried to wipe the first and last sectors using dd with no exit. Maybe I didn't do it correctly?

Please help, what can I do to wipe the disk and make it available to the GUI?

Under "Storage" => "Disk", you should have a "Wipe" option available when you select the correct drive.
That should be enough to fix your issue.

Thanks, but that didn't work either.

Meanwhile, tried to crate a pool manually and then zpool labelclear -f it, without luck.

Well, seems I messed up the "zpool.cache" file... Is it safe to delete this file and reimport all the pools? If not, how can I force "zpool.cache" to "forget" one specific pool?
