This is not so much an incompatibility as a lack of proper support, in the sense that FreeBSD's scheduler has no concept of P-cores and E-cores. So it runs but performance would be erratic under load—and that particular class of hardware is probably not well-tested either on FreeBSD.

Then, again, your pfSense appliance has two to four times more RAM and over ten times the computing power it can really use for its job (I guess it could run happily on half the E-cores alone). It runs, but that's frankly a waste of hardware resources.
