I have an existing working zpool which now shows offline. It's a 2 disk Mirror, the 2 disks show as exported. How can I get the 2 disks imported back

I have an existing working zpool which now shows offline. It's a 2 disk Mirror, the 2 disks show as exported. How can I get the 2 disks imported back into the pool. Nothing I've tried has worked.
