Hi
I have an windows 2019 VM running as Plex Media Server. Normally I create an VHDX on the ISCSI of the Hyper-V server and attach it to the Plex server VM, put the media there and call it a day.
The ISCSI it's and zvol on the Truenas where all my VMs VHDX are stored. I can create multiple zvols to separate OS data (windows installation) and movie data.
But now I want to know if instead I create an SMB share directly on the Truenas, it will be any better or faster? I mean only for the movie library.
What you guys think?
