Since I upgraded my NAS from 11-STABLE to 11.2-BETA3 i've been having random issues (normally after about 24-36h of uptime) with my 10GBE SFP NICs locking up and refusing to accept traffic.

The intel Gigabit nics continue to work fine, and if i SSH into the machine and reboot it, everything comes back online.

When the NC550SFPs are locked up, the following is shown on the screen (repeating every 5-10 seconds):

I have the exact same card..... and have the exact same issue. I literally started a large file transfer (600GB) and got the issue after about 20min of transfering.

Were you able to file a bug report @cliv ?? If so, can you post the issue number please? I'd like to follow it...

@dlavigne , is there anything I can do to help. I literally have the exact same issue as cliv.

I never did file a bug report - I ended up grabbing a pair of Mellanox cards instead for $30 each from ebay and used those - They worked much, much better.

lol I almost want to do the exact same thing.... I'm getting sick of this issue! Anyways... I've never filed a bug ticket. Where would I do that @dlavigne ?? What information would be needed? I would LOVE to have a working NAS. I'm almost on the edge of trying out UnRAID or some other solution. This card works fine in Windows.... but...... Windows lol

My NAS works fine now with those HP cards. It took a few times but I simply did a reinstall for the 3rd time and now they work stable! Don't ask me what fixed it.... That's all I did.
