How to make a Mirror from a single drive pool

Hi all,
I am trying to move a single drive pool to a mirror, but when I click "Extend" on the pool, the only option the gui is giving me is to add a second drive to stipe.

Is there another way to do this?

The new drive is larger than the old one. 128gb vs 256. It was my understanding that I could do it but would only have the 128hlgb of usable storage which is fine

Despite an open ticket for at least the last five years, and the devs saying it would take no more than a day's work to implement (as it's a trivial task with ZFS), you still can't do this through the GUI. There's this one from almost 6 years ago, but it's marked as a duplicate of another ticket whose number isn't specified that I can see. I can't readily find the one that contains the referenced comment from one of the devs.

Yeah, that's probably why nothing happened. Can someone please create a new feature request so it can go into the dev queue, and post the issue number here.
