How to do local rsync in 8.2.0-rc1

Hello,

I just installed 8.2.0-RC1 and auto-imported my ZFS pools from an old FreeNAS 0.7.2 installation. I now would like to copy off all of my data onto an attached usb drive which I have mounted at /mnt/usb1 and formatted with UFS. I would like to rsync the path /mnt/pool2/video/movies to /mnt/usb1/video/movies. What command would I use to perform that copy-job and how do I monitor its progress? I looked for the option within the GUI but didn't see it, so I am not opposed to doing it from the shell, but would like to do it right and be able to monitor the progress if possible. Thanks in advance!

I've never used FN7, but I understand there was a GUI option for doing local copies. You'll need to open a shell prompt to run rsync locally.

Basically you want something like this:

rsync -av --progress /mnt/pool2/video/movies /mnt/usb1/video/movies
