How to delete/remove network interfaces

I'm trying to remove 2 onboard 1GbE ethernet ports from my TrueNAS Core system. A while back I complained about them cluttering up my dashboard even though they're not in use. (I use a Chelsio 10GbE SFP+ NIC). I was told to just delete the interfaces from my configuration.

I see info on how to delete them on Scale, but I can't figure out any way to do so on Core. Perhaps I can do it in the BIOS, I haven't tried that, but the BIOS on this old SuperMicro board is pretty basic.

Thanks.

Edit: I just thought of a related question -- is there any reason to configure these ports and connect them to my primary switch? I don't have any vlans set up, but i suppose I could. I have a 10GbE card in my primary PC, but I suppose I could maybe put my Nvidia Shield into a vlan with the TrueNAS server. Would this buy me anything?
