Every time I log into TrueNAS I have to acknowledge this popup by clicking Get Started. I don't need or want to see this every time I log in.

I have searched and can't find an answer.

TIA

Don't have an answer for that. Guessing Vivaldi browser is clearing a cookie or persistence setting though. Can you confirm it works properly if you try Chrome or FireFox?

This has been asked a number of times now. Is there a possibility to get an "expert mode" setting stuffed into the general config pages somewhere? Basically people understand that you want to be "friendly" to new users, but there's also such a thing as just wanting to get your stuff done without having to dismiss a relentless stream of pop-ups. Not accusing TRUENAS of that, but, more generally, there's an issue with software being overly helpful, web pages and Windows with endless streams of popups and notifications and DAMMIT JUST STOP LEMME GET MY WORK DONE  ;-)

Go ahead and file a bug ticket then. We can look at a knob to disable this, or maybe CLI command or similar. After we determine its not easily fixable anyway in its current form :)

Doesn't do it in Chrome so the problem is Vivaldi. I'm going to poke around and see if I can find a solution. If not I'll just live with it, it's not really that big of as deal.
