I've configured our LDAP directory, and it's working perfectly for every auth (ssh, AFP...) but I have a problem to solve:

Every user gets as default home /var/home/$user

This poses two problems:
  1. I can't make it work with AFP 'homes' option. This are my usual error logs:
    Oct 23 20:17:51 kantenas afpd[25660]: Login by agonzalez (AFP3.4)
    Oct 23 20:17:51 kantenas afpd[25660]: readvolfile: user home "/var/home/agonzalez" doesn't match basedir regex "/mnt/PuzolNas/homes"
Oct 23 20:18:36 kantenas afpd[25660]: AFP logout by agonzalez
  2. Every file from the users home is out of the storage.
So... How can I configure a different default home path instead of /var/home ?

I am not sure if you already have tried this:

in the AFP service window is an option to select the path for the home directories.
