I been using ZFS and PLEX via Arch Linux. Trying to switch to FreeNAS once I resolve a network issue.

What are your hardware resources (system specs)? Do you at least meet the minimum specs to run FreeNAS? It would be terrible to install FreeNAS just to find out it won't run properly and then you need to move back to Arch.
