Hi All,

I have read the manual i promise!

I have been running for about a year and all is well. I have however had a few disk's die or apparently disconnect & threw some spares in at different stages. I am back to running a healthy pool but i am confused over the pool status with my spares. I think i have 2 but it lists 3. Also i only need one but am not sure which to disconnect.

Are these drives connected to one pool or for all pools, iw ould like to only have one and in the future use some of the spares to add another pool and have a spare bgetween them both.

Please can you offer me some advance.

Thank you

Spares are assigned to a single pool.

The screenshots you posted indicate there's one spare in use currently (meaning it's no longer actually "spare"). da8

There are no other spares that I can see.

It seems you may have replaced da10 at some point after the spare was invoked, but you haven't returned the spare, so actually it's currently just running in a mirror with da10 for little added value (which is what spares are in my opinion anyway).
