Ok, as the title says, I’m looking to setup a node where I can point my miners to. It’s a new bitcoin based coin (as a bit of a test exercise) so low block size and is sha256d. As a newbie to this I am learning a lot alone the way, but one thing I cant seem to resolve is this bit. believe me ive tried loads of googling and nothing seems to hit the mark!
It seems the miner’s I’m using need to connect to a stratum protacol not http. miners work to stratum+tcp servers but not HTTP local.
So once i install the local node compiled and installed in a jail and have it synced, how best can i get a miner to connect to the node via stratum protocol?
