Hi guys i had a 1 second power trip, Freenas server i could not see it shutting down and restarting. However the pool is degraded. i have not re started it yet but i am not sure if it is a real issue or after i re booted it will be back to normal. 1 of the disk da7 have read and write errors, from GUI it is in 'faulted' state now.
And if i change disk, these are the steps from GUI ?
1. Plug in new disk without removing faulted disk which is da7
2. At da7>replace disk>replace it with new disk
or
1. Remove da7
2. Plug in new disk>replace
or
1. Offline da7 and remove physically
2. Insert new disk>replace
i really have phobia from last 2 weeks experience where pool cannot be seen.
