hangs at "starting cron" over USB, 8.3 beta4

PowerEdge 2900.

When installed onto USB stick (PNY 8gb), startup hangs at "starting cron".

Any ideas?

Press CTRL+T to give you the stuck process (and pass it here)... And then CTRL+C to kill it, as a workaround.

Thanks William. I came back upstairs, and it seems to have started! Perhaps the USB stick is just very slow to boot up.
