Guest share not allowing force user

I've just moved from a linux box to freenas

Previously i had a share that any authorised person could connect to, and using the "force user = username" config line i could force all new files to use
those credentials.

whenever i try to use force user in freenas i cant connect to the share



NOTE: the forced user is the owner and group owner of the folder and has applicable rights

Nevermind, it was a permissions issue
