FreeNAS version 8.3.0 32BIT

title is error then:

GEOM: da0: using the secondary instead -- recovery strongly advised.

i am assuming this is the error upon boot from the USB stick because it does not get much beyond this line.

thanks.

Sounds like possibly a bad stick, can you try installing on another one and see what happens?

Stuck here as well

tried 3 different usb sticks ( 1 new usb 3.0) I re-downloaded the img file from a different mirror. and tried re-flashing it. Interesting enough nas4Free boots off of the same stick that is failing? Ive attached a photo of the error. This machine was booting fine the hardware has stayed mostly the same though i did add a new sata card though i don't think that is the issue as n4f works OK its just not as finely polished as freenas. Ill pickup an new usb2 stick tomorrow and try again. Also i get the same error whether i extract the img file, or if i install to usb?

My thumb drive was slightly bent (damaged).

It works but seems causing the error message to appear.

Changed it and it works. 20150221_181932.jpg
