Gateway hardware

I am trying to install either version on the Gateway machine and it is not working. It is getting stuck on detecting some piece of hardware during the install. Is there anything that I am doing wrong or someone could help me out please? Thanks in advance.

The model is DX4300-15e

A Phenom II X4, Core-2 era machine. It can probably be made to run FreeNAS. It does not support ECC memory, and the most memory it can accept is 8GB, the minimum recommended for FreeNAS. How much memory is installed?

What is the exact error message about hardware detection?

8GB of Ram is installed. It is trying to detect some hard of hardware. I will try and get that error message for you.
